Highways & Planning Committee
This committee considers planning applications for Hedge End which have been submitted to Eastleigh Borough Council.
It makes recommendations on these applications, although the final decision rests with Eastleigh Borough Council. Small applications are normally decided by Eastleigh planning officers and the complex ones by the Hedge End, West End, and Botley Local Area Committee.
Due to the need to reply fairly quickly to Eastleigh's planning time scale, this committee meets twice a month - normally the first Wednesday of the month at 7.00pm and the third Wednesday of the month at 6.45pm.
Councillors are also able to raise highway matters for reporting to the Highways Authority, Hampshire County Council.
