Here are the different levels of elected government, from your local town council to the UK Parliament.

This does not include the large number of non-elected bodies who also govern our lives (e.g. Police, Health, Education). All levels have elected members who are able and willing to help residents with their problems:

Residents of Hedge End are able to vote in elections at 4 levels of government - UK Parliament, County Council, Borough Council and Town Council.

At national level the whole of Hedge End belongs to the same electoral area - Hamble Valley Constituency.

However, for local elections Hedge End is divided into wards.

For Hedge End Town Council elections, the wards are Berry, Park, Kings Copse and Village.

For Eastleigh Borough Council and Hampshire County Council elections, Hedge End is divided into Hedge End North and Hedge End South.
