Sadly, a newly planted tree has been destroyed by vandals in a deliberate and targeted attack outside the Norman Rodaway Pavilion. The tree was an unusual variety of Beech which grows very upright and it was growing really well and looking beautiful. It takes time and effort to establish new trees, so it is heartbreaking when they are mindlessly destroyed. The stump has been left in the slim hope that it may resprout. The incident has been reported to the Police. If anyone has any information please report on 101 or via www.hampshire.police.uk/ro/report/ocr/af/how-to-report-a-crime ... See MoreSee Less
