We’re Upgrading the Locke Road Play Area!
A new play area is being installed in Locke Road.
We would like those who live near or use the playground to have their say and help influence the final location and design.
This project may involve relocating the play area to a nearby location. The existing site has limitations due to its proximity to the trees incurring additional costs for fencing and surfacing of the large area. The existing site would be turned into a landscaped area.

The next stage of the design will be based on a combination of your responses and what is feasible within the space and functionality and put out to various companies to produce interesting ideas which will be shortlisted. The final designs will be available to comment on in the New Year.
The consultation runs until Sunday 1st December 2024.
