Paint Jam at the Skatepark

October 19, 2026

Our Woodhouse Lane Skatepark will be given an exciting new look on Saturday when it will be transformed by local artists during a Paint Jam!

Come along to the skatepark on Saturday 24th October, 10am–4pm, and watch some amazing artists transform it with colour and creativity! (Weather permitting!)

Artist Rachel Jones will be bringing together fellow artists, street art and a DJ for a family-friendly day celebrating creativity and our local community. Come along, see the artists at work, enjoy the atmosphere and watch the skatepark get a whole new lease of life!

A few important things to know:

This is a watch-only event – it’s not a participatory painting session.

The skatepark will be closed for skating for the day while the painting takes place.

Children are very welcome but must be accompanied and supervised by an adult throughout the event.

Whether you’re a local family, a street art fan or just curious to see something creative happening in Hedge End, come down and show the artists some love!

Let’s bring some colour to our community!
