WEEKEND LITTER PICKER
SALARY GRADE 2/2*, SCP 10-12 (£24,167 – £25,442 pro rata)
A vacancy has arisen to join Hedge End Town Council grounds team. We are looking for 2 part time conscientious, Litter Pickers, this will be for 4 hours each day over the weekend either a Saturday or Sunday or could be combined as one post. The role requires someone who can work across several sites in Hedge End keeping parks and open spaces tidy and free of litter and to assist with any other tasks that may be required.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- a full UK Driving Licence
- excellent time keeping
- an ability to work in an organized and methodical manner
- a clean and smart appearance and be able to represent the Town Council when dealing with members of the public.
Ideally a willingness to work flexibly and provide cover when required is preferred but not essential.
Ideally you would be able to start immediately following receipt of suitable references.
