Hedge End Community Awards

This year once again we are on the lookout for outstanding individuals whose dedication and selflessness to make the community a better place is an inspiration to those around them. If you know of an individual who deserves recognition for their voluntary services, then please do fill out the relavent form below, because we would love to hear all about them!

The Serving the Community Award was first started in 2007 to recognise the wonderful service volunteers offer within the Hedge End community. The awards are open to anyone via a nomination process and are selected by the Recreation and Amenities Committee. Alongside this, the Young Person’s Award was started shortly after in 2009, both of which are showcased at the Annual Parish Assembly each year.

The Nomination for Serving the Community Award 

• The nominee should be above the age of 25+
• The award is not for any academic work.
• The voluntary service must benefit the Community of Hedge End.
• This must be unpaid work/service.

  • The upper age limit for nominations is 25 years.
  • The award is not for any academic work.
  • The service must benefit the community of Hedge End.
  • This must be unpaid service.
