Conservation at the Nature Reserve

The Hedge End Conservation Volunteers have been out and about looking after the Wildern Local Nature Reserve.

The team joined members of our grounds staff, pruning back overgrown vegetation along Goodalls Lane, known locally as The Old Stoney. They also donned their waders to help clear invasive species and discarded litter from Coltsfoot Pond.
