Hedge End Town Council is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Green Flag for the sixth year running! Both Albert Road Cemetery and the War Memorial have achieved the Green Flag for 2015 /2016. Thank you to the efforts of our excellent ground staff team, who have carefully maintained this most peaceful and serene burial ground for the community of Hedge End. The Green Flag Awards scheme recognises and rewards the best green spaces in the country and acknowledges that these sites are being maintained to the highest national standards.
HEDGE END DEMENTIA FRIENDLY HIGH STREET SCHEME
As part of the commitment to making Hedge End Dementia Friendly, members of the Hedge End Dementia High Street Scheme are invited to free Dementia Awareness Sessions for customer facing staff. HEDGE END TOWN COUNCIL ANNUAL LOW COST COMMUNITY TENNIS - £30
Hedge End Town Council, in partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), Hampshire County Council, Eastleigh Borough Council and the Hampshire Playing Fields Association, have refurbished the three community tennis courts at Woodhouse Lane, which are now available to book under an ANNUAL LOW COST FEE (£30)...Click Here for further details.
HEDGE END PADDLING POOL - 20 FREE CAR PARKING SPACES
20 free car parking spaces are available at Hedge End Social Club (FRONT CAR PARK ONLY), Bursledon Road (SO30 0BR). Please do not park in the main Hedge End Club car park, this is for the use of patrons of the social club only, or obstruct the entrance to the social club at any time. Paddling pool parking is also available at the 2000 Centre car park in St Johns Rd (SO30 4AF).
